I'm Avery. I'm constantly in a Southern state of mind, Georgian if we are to be specific. Georgia, where my family is from, Georgia is home. I love practically everything southern and prep. Even though I spend the school year in PA, I stay true to my Georgian roots and as soon as school let's out, I'm back home. Nothing is better than vacations to the Gulf shore, SEC Football, sweet tea, Lily Pulitzer and of course the heat. Summer 2012 is gonna be amazing and I can't wait!

Government & Politics

In less than 8 hours I will be taking my first AP Exam! I’m excited, but nervous. No, this test does not count towards my GPA, but it still matters. This test tells me if I really have learned anything in Mr. Scott’s class. I have studied, but not as much or as effectively as I could have ( I blame tumblr, Facebook, & aliya and mike.) Since there is no going back, I’m gonna go in with a positive attitude and a clear mind. I’m not gonna dwell on the stupid “shoulda, coulda, wouldas” and just give it my all. Whatever happens I know that I gave the test my all on test day and that’s all I could be asked and expected to do.
